Last weekend 14 members of the 1st entry of MOBI'S gathered at Bendigo to celebrate the time of 60 years since the start of apprentice training at Nirimba.
The enjoyment and comradrie over the weekend only gives strength to the saying "Once a MOBI always a MOBI"

Man oh Man, what a fantastic achievement to reach a 60th reunion. All these stalwarts are around 77 years old and were the pioneers of Nirimba.

I hope I will still be around for the fighting 13th Intake's 60th reunion

Quite true Chippy Ned ......... but more than that, they were the pathfinders towards fleet efficiency. Without them and their example, their skill, their attitude and their initiative, the fleet could never have been kept at sea and operating so well. Many, many thanks and much respect to those boys!!!!
