Hi guys,

Ellen and I will be overseas from 24th September to the 6th November. Can I suggest Saturday the 9th November for this years run?

This will be the 17th Annual RAN Skilled Hands Sydney Rocks Xmas Pub Crawl Smokey, Neddley, which we always held on the first
weekend in November, enabling participants to make long term commitments, bookings, reservations, and provide predictable scheduling :evil3:

I also acknowledge/ respect the fact that that some have even altered long standing family commitments to ensure they're always available each year... :notworthy:

but surely its up to you to plan your getaways around the firm date we've agreed on... :thumbright:

It's not like its the first one you've missed anyway... :roll:

No problems here Tricky, it doesn't worry me if I miss it, I was just trying to prevent you from having a go at me.

By the way I can't change the dates of the scheduled tours of major companies and I do have a life you know. :upy:

So, I do apologise to all of you that have altered your lives so you can attend the Rocks Run on the first weekend in November. This year's run will be held on Saturday the 2nd of November. :ok:

The questions of when and where need to be answered quite soon for everyone to plan, and the only way to do that is for evryone to put forward their thoughts. So please do. :grin:

For the Night of the Basin Trials, we either put up with the yuppies in the 'Loo or head to a hotel that's a bit out of the way. Harbourview perhaps?

I think that no matter where we go in Sydney we're going to be up against the yuppie (or rainbow) plague. My question is, is the devil we know any worse than the one that we don't know?
