When my phone "tinkled" with the Australia wide disaster alert test, I swore that mine said "Presidential alert". When I offered this some suggested I was "special" but I was not able to track the message (maybe I am special). I use an old "retired" phone as an alarm clock and it "tinkled" when I went to set it up with an alarm time (note, not having the technical nouse to set up a screen shot - trust me it said it) and said "Presidential alert". I know that others said this happened with them, how about others on Skilled Hands?

I want to give some support for Jacinta Allen.

It can't be disputed that she has definitely been Victoria's best Premier since Dan Andrews. :haha:

[-( Yup, mine only 'tinkled' as well, :omg1: and I thought my Samsung Galaxy S20+5G 'smart phone' (released in 2000) was fairly 'modern', but... :dontknow:

:-k I guess if there's an emergency in my immediate vicinity I'd better be in an absolutely soundless environment, or I'll never hear it...

My Samsung S25 Ultra and my Samsung S9+ tablet both squacked like stuck pigs.
I didnt read the messages just turned the noise off!!
I believe you are supposed to have to have the latest updates installed for it to work properly,
My wifes Telstra Z2336T which is a fairly basic non-smart phone has all its updates but stayed silent and didn't blink!!
