Upon sober (?) reflection, it would appear that 5 working days is a bit short notice for our screen printer to order in the polo shirts for this little get together, so save your money for the beers...
However, those gracing us with their presence next Saturday 10th January at ''The Brooklyn" will not feel their efforts in vane...
For route details of the event, and the reward for successfully completing the fun run, check out our newest addition to the website... Our NEW Main Notice Board on the WELCOME PAGE, its under the briefcase with IMPORTANT NOTICE on it...
(...or if you're impatient like Ned, click on this link to jump straight to the notice...

Rick,
re 'The Inaugural Skilled Hands Sydney Pub Crawl', please accept my 'inability to attend'. By the look of the progamme it will be one whizzer of a day, and I hope that you get a good attendance.
I would like however to offer one word of advice to the participants, from one who has had experience in this department.
DONT TRY A ROUND IN EVERY PUB!
And perhaps a word of advice to the organizers,
GIVE OUT THE CERTIFICATES TO THE ATTENDEES BEFORE YOU START BECAUSE THERE WILL BE FEW WHO WILL FINISH THE COURSE !
Good luck, and I still wish I could be with you, but alas the years have intervened.

Thanks for the advice Col, hopefully the "seasoned drinkers" will be able to pull the rest through.
Don't worry Coral, I reckon the rabble will need a bit of marching practice, maybe even a bit of doubling between pubs in the early stages.
Keeping Burgo mobile, may be a problem after he's eaten half a horse though. The boy does love his nosh.
Cheers, Ned.

I'm jealous! I wish I could be there!
How about another one in March, and I'll make the trip to be there?
Cheers
CJ

The 20th of March would be out for me. Launching of the Perth at Williamstown.
Listening to the ABC the other day and heard about the chap who was very superstitious. Thought it was bad luck to shout in a pub.
Cheers
Roger

Hi everyone,
Just a short note to thank all those guys living close to Sydney, that replied to my message.
It seems we won't have a lot of starters for our inaugural get together, but we will be pathfinders for our second one.
I will talk to CJ about one in march, which will give everyone a bit more notice.
Meanwhile, stay tuned and we will keep you all informed about Saturday and the next one.
Cheers, Ned.

Hippy Chippy, Chippy Ned....
I'm clambering to free up my 'oh so busy' social calendar (well alright, I may have to work on the 10th),
What time is the kick-off? I'm gonna do my best effort to get there to make sure you guys are on the straight and narra.....
Cheers

Im in. Wife has given approval to attend on the proviso that I stay in the city that night. Anyone know of a good hotel in the area that will not cost me an arm and a leg. What time do I need to front up at the Brooklyn?
