Had the same problem myself. You are using the old URL in your favourites, and when you replace it with the new URL "http://ran.poweringon.com.au/phpBB2/" this problem will go away.

Got an new 'puter (goes like a shower of sh*t), BUT the fellas at trhe top of the page don't move, and nor do the "smileys"
WTF??
Looked through the FAQs but can't seem to put my FAQing finger on it??

Steve, I've had the same problem in the past and I traced it back to the settings on my internet security system (Zone Alarms Pro at the time).
With some antivirus/firewall programs the higher you set the 'expected threat' setting, the less it'll allow through in the way of little add-ons like the .gif files, etc.
